In Kenyan Coastal Counties there is high poverty and high illiteracy levels.

Poverty has been identified as a major driver of  Dropping out of schools, Early marriages, Child Labour and abuse and Violent Extremism.

The livelihood programme seeks to address poverty challenge by assisting girls and young women in their pathway towards financial independence. 

The programme also aims at putting girls and women at the forefront of preventing terrorism and violent extremism.

Business incubation Centre

Beneficiaries will be mentored on entrepreneurship so as to start or grow their own businesses

Saving Groups

Formed at Village Levels to encourage the savings culture among girls and young women.

Trainings

Aimed at equiping girls and young women with financial literacy skills.
